I would like to know where I can buy tickets for horse racing events. Preferbly for races in Lancashire or somewhere close to it.

If you are looking for Corporate Hospitality Tickets then contact the Racecourses Direst.
Sometimes, as with my local Bath Racecourse, they advertise special deals in the local paper, and sometimes you can get specials in the Racing Post or "peoples" papers like the Sun , Star or daily Mirror.
But Generally, you just pay as you go in at the gate.
A word of advice, avoid admission to the "Silver Ring". You won’t see much!!

At the gate? Sorry don’t mean to sound like a smart a$$, but that’s how we do it in the US. Don’t they do it the same way over there? ( would honestly like to know the answer to that!)

You have one of three options:

    1. You can buy in advance over the telephone.
    2. You can buy via the racecourse website
    3. Buy on the day when you get to the racecourse.

To be honest only the big race days like the Derby and the Grand National ever sell out, although some of the evening meetings can sell out if they have a popular band playing after racing (we’ve got Madness playing at Newmarket on 20th July and that sold out about a month ago).
