That Chris Everett …
That Chris Everett interview was huge back in the mid 90’s when it happened.

You didnt have as much media, or controversies to talk about, so when it happened, it was talked about for years. Jim Everett, the quarterback, was perceived as soft. Jim Rome, the host, mocked him about it (calling him “Chris”, for Chris Evert, a ladies tennis player at the time). Rome was totally asking for it. That interview will live in infamy.
